Pojhala Brewing – Virmalised IPA

Purchased from the one and only Wingman Bar Aachen.

This tasty Estonian treat really tickled my taste buds the right way. A fresh, chilled IPA that had a perfect balance between between hits of hop, juice and bitterness. With a beautiful murky orange body and white head it is as good looking as it is tasting. It has a nice thick body for a 6.5% beer with flavours of mango, citrus, grapefruit present throughout. This is thanks to Amarillo, Citra and Centennial hops. In addition, nice malt undertones can be tasted throughout.

The beer name can be translated to Aurora Borealis – the Northern Lights. A beautiful sight, just like this beer.

This is a beer to be enjoyed on a nice summer’s day. However, you’ll struggle to have one at Wingman because I got the last one!
